Secure Your Private Lanes with Road Retarder

Excessive speed is the source of many accidents, even on private roads. The best way to avoid speeding is to install one or more plastic speed bumps. These are particularly designed to be easily placed on private roads.

Adapted Characteristics

Road retarders for private roads are modular. They are all made of vulcanized virgin rubber for all-weather resistance and great durability. Each element of the retarder is equipped with 4 reflectors and a cable gland with a diameter of 27 mm. It is perfectly visible at night. These are the ends of the retarder, which gives it its modularity. They are sold, optional, in a set of 2. The pair consists of a yellow end and a black one to identify each side of the retarder. Only the ends of the road retarder for private roads (25 km/h) are fitted with cable glands. Fasteners for asphalt or concrete are also sold separately and as an option.

Several Speeds Are Processed

Road retarder for private roads is available in three lengths. These central elements are intended to cause an effective deceleration at 3 maximum speed levels. For maximum speed of 30 km/h, use a model with a length of 250 mm, width 350 mm, and height 50 mm for two elements. A 250 mm x 400 mm x 70 mm model will be suitable for a maximum speed of 5 to 10 km/h. Instead, consider a 500mm x 430mm x 60mm model to limit the maximum speed to 25 km/h. The central elements of retarder are sold in sets of 2 elements, each 25 cm long, 1 black and 1 yellow, for maximum speeds of 30 km/h and 5 to 10 km/h. They are 50 cm long for a maximum speed of 25 km/h.
