Brütal Legend lawsuit settled

The Associated Press reports that the lawsuit to delay or hinder the release of EA and Double Fine’s Metal-Epic “Brütal Legend” is now settled and the game is scheduled to be released on time.

Los Angeles Superior Court spokeswoman Vania Stuelp said attorneys for Activision notified the court of the settlement agreement with Double Fine. Attorneys for the companies did not immediately return calls seeking comment on Thursday.

While details about the settlement are unknown, one thing stands undoubtedly clear: Rocktober is saved.
