Resident Evil Zero Release Date! [Comments Off]
So, as I dust myself off from the deer in the headlights position… Capcom was nice enough to let us know of the Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero ship date!
On December 1st, 2009 this classic for the Nintendo Wii drops at a $29.99. I’m not sure how much that is across the pond, but I’ll get back to you on that.
Mix your cursor herb and the “continued” herb to read the official press release!

Muramasa outsells Dead Space Extraction and Spyborgs [Comments Off]
D’toid must’ve been knee deep in NPD data to unearth this nugget of information: “Muramasa” outsold both “Spyborgs” and “Dead Space: Extraction”. Quite handsomly, too. While EA’s “Dead Space”-spin off sold 9000 copies, Capcom’s “Spyborgs2 did 500 units. That is not a lot, no.
“Muramasa” on the other hand sold a pretty impressive 35,000 units. It has to be said though, that “Muramasa” had a 2 week headstart. Oh, and it is the vastly superior game.
Epic Mickey gets scanned [Comments Off]
Treat yourself to a couple of scans from this month’s Game Informer cover story, Warren Spector’s re-imagining of Disney’s most beloved character: “Epic Mickey”.
It’s cool, since we’re in Europe and there’s no GI here… and importing is expensive, right?
Joe the Condor and Zero Revealed for Tatsunoko vs Capcom [Comments Off]
No longer are the new characters for “Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars” shrouded in mystery!
Introducing Tatsunoko’s Joe the Condor comes via the Gatchaman series. He’s got some stylish attacks as well as a powerful gun/grappling hook sidearm.
Next up is Capcom’s very own Zero from the Mega Man X/ Mega Man Zero series of games. Zero comes equipped with his trusty Mega Buster, Plasma Sword and some very speedy moves. And stay away from his Ultra combo, that Plasma Sword is no joke.
Thanks to Capcom’s PR team for working with us.
Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars ships to retailers in the U.S. exclusively for the Wii on Jan. 26, 2010
Shenmue’s Ryo Hazuki to star in Sonic & SEGA All Star Racing [Comments Off]
If you truly love “Shenmue”, and care about things like dignity you might want to look away now; SEGA just announced that Ryo Hazuki will be one of the playable characters in “Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing”. His vehicle of choice is a bike but, if things get hairy, he can whip out his trademark forklift-truck to get rid of his adversaries.
You can’t make this kind of stuff up. I guess after getting pretty much rid of Yu Suzuki, they can do whatever they want, right?
Warren Spector’s Epic Mickey revealed [2]
This month’s GameInformer reveals the long-rumored “Epic Mickey” by the new team at Disney that Warren Spector of “Deus Ex” fame is heading. It seems to be exclusive to Nintendo’s Wii.
We have futher info and the whole cover — it’s gorgeous — for you, after the break.

New No More Heroes 2 videos introduce new playable character, work [Comments Off]
Shinobu, one of the assasin’s from the first part, is going to be the 2nd playable character in “No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle”. Of course, we have now idea how much or if at all she differs from Travis, or how she fits into the story, but I am sure Suda has figured out crazier things in his life. The video is after the break.
Also after the break are 2 videos of the new jobs. If they look straight from a NES game, you are watching the right ones.
No More Heroes: No More Travis, Yes More Nintendo [Comments Off]
“No More Heroes 2″ is not even out yet, but Grasshopper Manufacture boss Suda 51 is already preparing for the future. In an interview with 1up he talks about the future of the franchise. First thing’s first, will Travis make his return in “NMH3″?
“I’ve finished the story for Travis [Touchdown]. It’s completely finished in No More Heroes 2.”
So there. Done with Travis. What about the Wii? Done with that, too:
[...] Looking at the Wii, I think No More Heroes 2 will probably be the last iteration for this current platform. But there’s probably going to be a “Wii 2″ or other next-gen system from Nintendo at some point, so I was saying that I would want to do another game in the series on the next Nintendo platform.
Interestingly, Suda and his crew are waiting for the next Nintendo Platform to drop. The plot thickens.
