Max Payne 3 gets delayed to Q4

In today’s earnings call, Take-Two has announced that the Rockstar’s “Max Payne 3″ will be released in the financial 4th quarter of 2010 (august-october) on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

No reasons for the delay were given.

The good news is that no other titles are affected by this delay, so “BioShock 2″, “Red Dead Redemption” and “Mafia II” will be released in the fist half of next year as planned.

You know, it’s really hard for me to say something about these screenshots. I don’t know a lot about the wild west, or the western genre, but, you know, as a gamer, I am intrigued.
If Rockstar’s pedigree is anything to go by, “Red Dead Redemption” looks to be their best game yet.

No Mafia 2 in 2009 – :( [Comments Off]

Publisher Take Two announced that Mafia 2 – developed by 2K games – and Red Dead Redemption – developed by Rockstar – will not be completed in 2009, but instead, they prognosticate the scheduled arrival time to be Q1, 2010. You might think that missing the holiday season will have a bad effect on sales, however, remember GTA 4 for the PC, struggling with serious optimalization issues, and different bugs, when it came out – so it might not be such a bad idea to postpone the arrival dates of these games.

BioShock 2 gets date, Europe goes first [Comments Off]

T2 Would like you to kindly take note, that BioShock 2 will be coming out on the 30th of October in Europe and on the 3rd of November in America. Until further notice, we are hopeful that the sequel to 2007’s semi-surprise hit will launch on both next-gen platforms and PC.
