Dante’s Inferno’s “Bad Nanny” achievement to reward baby slaying [Comments Off]
Executive Producer of “Dante’s Inferno” Jonathan Knight has revealed that there will be an achievement for killing a certain amount (currently unknown) of knife-armed, unbaptized babies! Scandalous? Not sure, they are pretty freaky looking and do come at you with freaking knife-arms!
Dante’s Inferno will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PSP on February 9th 2010.
Monster Hunter Freedom Discount [Comments Off]
In Japan, the “Monster Hunter” series of games by Capcom is a cultural phenomenon, eclipsing even the likes of “Halo”; in Europe? Not so much!
Maybe that’s why Capcom discounted the newest entry of the series, it came out this June, to € 20,90 this week — that’s a saving of € 19,00.
If you’re on the fence, this is as cheap as it is going to get for a while.
Download the Peace Walker Demo – again! [Comments Off]
Kojima Productions have released the TGS Demo for “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker” on the official website. I am currently verifying if it is indeed the same demo, but so far, all signs point into that direction. Will update when I know more.
Update Yup, it’s the exact same. Proof after the break. continue reading →

How to get a PSP Go for cheap [Comments Off]
So, the PSPgo, well, how do we put this; it’s rather expensive. There’s ways around that, though. Not for free, mind you, but here’s the shops you should consider when you want to buy one:
UK & Europe — www.hmv.co.uk
HMV, your top dawg for the PSPgo, is selling it for GBP 199, which roughly equals to 220 Euros. Shipping is free to the UK and 3 pounds everywhere else.
USA — dell.com via bing
You can get a PSPgo from dell using Bing Cashback (15%) and the coupon code 6FWJ247J1P44CK (15% off & free shipping) for less than $190. Seriously.
So it’s either these or putting it on your Amazon wish-list, hoping someone will gift you one. Can’t beat that.
How about Uncharted on PSP, Evan Wells? [Comments Off]
Hey now, don’t get too excited, the picture up top is just a mock up! However, “Uncharted 2″ isn’t even out yet, but people already want to take Nathan Drake with them anywhere they go.
Seems like they’re in luck, Evan Weels seems to be a huge supporter of the idea himself. In an interview with the Examiner, the co-president of Naughty dog had this to say in regards if he’d like to see Drake go wild on the PSP:
Of course! We’d love to see Uncharted grow beyond the PS3. It would be interesting to see what sort of changes to the design one would make for a portable system. But right now Naughty Dog is purely focused on PS3 development so we can’t promise anything from us in the near future.
Well, to be frank, Evan, ‘we’ are not expecting anything from Naughty Dog. It’s not like Insomniac made “Size Matters” or Santa Monica did “Chains of Olympus”. Come to think of it, Ready at Dawn have ordered some new PSP Devkits… What are Sony Bend up to anyway? The plot thickens!
NIS is celebrating PSP Go launch, cuts prices [Comments Off]
Seems like we’re not the only ones going crazy about the PSPgo: NIS has decided to celebrate the launch of Sony’s new handheld, they’ll drop the prices of their games 50%. List time!
- Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light
- Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
- Dragoneer’s Aria
- Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This?
- Mana Khemia: Student Alliance
- Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?
The prices range between $4,99 and $9,99.
Apparently, other publishers will follow suit as well. We’ll keep you posted. That is if we can tear ourselves away from “Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman!”
Hey Europe, get 3 free games with your PSP Go! [5]
SCEE is way kind, even in these desperate times, they still give you 4 free games, including “Gran Turismo PSP”, if you upgrade from PSP to PSPgo!
The PSPgo rewards scheme will allow you to kick start your Go collection with a couple of free games for those who currently own an older model of the PSP.
All you need is a PSN account from an SCEE territory, a PSPgo and a PSP with an UMD in the drive — “Hannah Montana” for example.
It’s not hard, really, but this handy guide, posted after the break, will make your life a lot easier.
… and don’t forget to leave a thank you note by the fridge for those nice kids at SCEE when you leave in the morning.
