You can now play some Starcraft II Beta [0]
Some dudes have released a crack so you can play some “StarCraft II” against AI without actually being in the beta.
For us non-beta-participants, it’s probably as good as it gets, so I suggest you take it, even though the AI is reportedly a little too easy. Or, as I like to call it, “just right”.
Assassins Creed II DRM wants your internet, always [3]
Like a bad friend only coming to your place to use your internet, the PC version of “Assassins Creed II” will require an active internet connection at all times, reports PC Gamer. Should your internet get wonky and the game is not able to phone home, it will simply ask you to please save your game so it can exit to Windows.
Yeah, people are not going to like this one bit.
If you don’t want “Splinter Cell Conviction” — same studio, no less — to turn out the same way, I think you want to start to riot just about now.

Blizzard just posted a gigantic article on their website updating us on the changes they’ve made to Battle.net.
Battle.net 2.0, which is scheduled to ship with “Starcraft 2″, will boast several new features, which are presented here.
Most notable are the inclusions of a full-on social network as well as mod support.
Fallout New Vegas gets trailered [0]
Bethesda has just released a new trailer for the Obsidian developed “Fallout: New Vegas”. It has robots in 50s styling, a big cowboy face and a lovely tune to top it all off.
“Fallout: New Vegas” is slated for fall 2010 for PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

Alien vs Predator multiplayer demo available now [0]
SEGA and Rebellion have released a multiplayer demo to “Aliens vs Predator”. It is available as of now on Steam and Xbox Live and will come to PlayStation Network later today.
The demo gives you a chance to take all 3 species for a whirl for a deathmatch on the map ‘Refinery’.
“Aliens vs Predator” releases on the 19th of February for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
