Peace Walker Release Date Announced [Comments Off]
Konami has finally announced the release date of the Hideo Kojima directed “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker” for PSP.
The game will be released on May 25th in the US and May 28th in Europe.

Akira Yamaoka leaves Konami [Comments Off]
This is proper upsetting: Akira Yamaoka has left Konami, and with him goes the only redeemable quality of the late entries into the “Silent Hill” franchise, the soundtrack.
The news comes from a reliable source inside Konami, according to Aeropause.
Gutted.
Or this might just be a publicity gag for heart-broken fans to gobble up the “last Silent Hill game he worked on”, “Silent Hill: Shattered Memories” which releases soon for Wii, PS2 and PSP.
English Peace Walker Demo soon [Comments Off]
The latest Kojima Productions podcast had some good news for us lowly peasants that are not good at speaking japanese and other languages that are not english: A fully localized “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker” demo is imminent.
Good news, as Japan is getting another, extended, demo this sunday, which will feature not just a new level, but also a revamped control scheme based on fans’ feedback. We’ll update you once we know more details — or have a download link.
David Hayter confirmed for MGS Peace Walker [Comments Off]
David Hayter has been confirmed to return as the voice of Naked Snake/Big Boss in the English version of “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker”.
The English voice cast was announced in the latest Kojima Productions Report, and sure enough David Hayter’s famous gravelly, grumbly interpretation of Snake will be coming to a PSP near you!
Zone of the Enders Sequel on top of the list, says Kojima [Comments Off]
Hideo Kojima is best known for his work on “Metal Gear Solid”, but in hardcore circles, he is also revered for a series that had 2 outings on the PS2 so far: “Zone of the Enders”. Now, he hasn’t made one in a while, but maybe soon?
“[...] of course Zone of the Enders is one of the… on top of the list. We are really considering it.”
Now, I wouldn’t call Kojima a liar, but remember when he said “Metal Gear Solid 4″ was going to be his last “Metal Gear”? Grain of salt, guys.

Kojima Productions have released the TGS Demo for “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker” on the official website. I am currently verifying if it is indeed the same demo, but so far, all signs point into that direction. Will update when I know more.

Oh my, Kojima wasn’t kidding, this is classic Metal Gear. The new “Peace Walker” trailer is full of win. The PSP exclusive game is coming 2010 and is being developed by the team that made “Guns of the Patriots”. Except for Ryan Payton. Who is a traitor.
