Little Big Planet 2 featured in next GameInformer [1]
Sony’s not-yet-announced platformer “Little Big Planet 2″ will be featured in the next issue of GameInformer, as the publication has accidentally revealed online.
A screenshot of the page as of now can be seen here, because Sony can’t be too happy about this and will most likely have this info pulled sooner rather than later.
Makes you wonder whatever happened to integrity…
Lost Planet 2 gets earlier release date, new demo [Comments Off]
Capcom has just informed us via PR that much-anticipated and less icy “Lost Planet 2″ is going to be hitting shelves May 11th — which, yes, is one week earlier as previously announced.
Also, a brand new demo is going to hit both Xbox Live and PSN; you will be able to obtain early access codes from www.lostplanet2game.com so that you can download the demo on March 31st (360) or April 1st (PS3). If you don’t care, are too lazy or hate codes, you will have to wait until April 21st/22nd to get your hands on the demo.
Of course you can also go play last year’s “Lost Planet 2″ demo right now, but it’s safe to say that the game has undergone some changes.
Split/Second gets a release date, as well as a subtitle [Comments Off]
“Split/Second” is out May 18th in the US. “Split/Second: Velocity” is out May 21st in Europe.
I got nothing.
Dead Space 2 gets first screenshots [3]
DigitalGames have obtained 6 screenshot’s from EA’s survival horror sequel “Dead Space 2″. Clearly, the game still looks like “Dead Space”, except that Isaac’s new suit looks more badass than ever. Take a look!
Borderlands: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx is out this week [6]
If you are lusting for more “Borderlands”, this is your lucky day. Owners of the Xbox 360 version of the game will be able to download the new content, titled “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx” — what are you; some kind of Sherlock Holmes for knowing this already? — Playstation 3 owners will have to wait until Thursday. That’s right, ladies night. 10 bucks will get you in.
PC version you ask? Uh… awkward. I have no idea.
The add-on includes a whole new area for you to explore, as well as a new vehicle, new weapons and, finally, a raised level cap: You can now turn it up all the way to 61. #spinaltapreferencefail #twittertaginblogpostfail
God of War III Demo hitting on the 25th [2]
For all of you who did not get a chance to play the “God of War III” demo yet, rejoice! ThatGamingSite is reporting that the rather extended E3 build of the game might be available on PSN come February 25, which not only is the date the demos’s exclusivity to GAME.co.uk expires, but also a thursday… and we all know what happens on thursday.
No, not ladies night at the bar downtown, but PSN update day.
Less than a month until the full game is out, exclusively on PS3. On a scale of 1-10, how pumped are you? I’m at 11, thanks for asking.
Dudley, Ibuki, Makoto appear in new Super Street Fighter IV trailer [Comments Off]
While neither Dudley, nor Ibuki or Makoto are officially confirmed to be in the game, that doesn’t mean Capcom can’t just release a trailer featuring just those 3 characters promoting their upcoming release of “Super Street Fighter IV”.
You can check out the trailer over at Kotaku and then look at this totally accurate list of characters leaked about 6 months ago. Good to be in the know, eh?
Jaffe all but confirms Ben Hur game [Comments Off]
David Jaffe hinted what his next game might be at DICE, describing it as being “in between God of War and Calling all Cars”.
Well I don’t know about you, but I think we’ll be racing chariots against each other while swinging deadly blades mounted on chains… or it could just be a new “Twisted Metal”.
Whatever it is he is working on should be unveiled at some point this year and will be released exlusively for PlayStation 3.
