Mass Effect 2 gets Collector’s Edition
We’re officially declaring bankruptcy. Not only are a bazillion of noteworthy games coming out early 2010, but when some release with an actually nice Collector’s Edition such as “Mass Effect 2″, we can’t help but live on ramen and tap water until the summer. Here’s what comes in the box:
- A tin box
- An art book
- A making-of DVD
- Issue 1 of the Mass Effect: Redemption comic
- Exclusive weapons and armor
It will set you back 10 bucks more than the regular edition for your respective platform of choice. That’d be Xbox 360 or PC, PS3 owners. That is if you live in North America. No pricing or availability has been announced for Europe so far. At least not in our inbox.
Box art is after the break effect.

I think the reason the original box art is ugly as sin is that they want you to buy the CE.
