UT3 Black is free this weekend [Comments Off]

Epic’s multiplayer FPS, Unreal Tournament 3 Black (which is the name of the Steam version of UT3) can be tried free of charge, this weekend, on Steam. Free stuff is always fun, so why not schedule your download right now? The Titan Pack is part of the Black edition, which added new vehicles, weapons, mines, to the game – a game, which gets a lot of plus content made by fans as well, thanks to Epic’s motivating 1 million dollar fund (“Make Something Unreal”), created only to support creative people.
It wouldn’t be without precedent, if one could buy UT3 Black on Steam cheaper during this weekend, however, there was no information about a sale like this (so far), so we can only hope that they feel like keeping this good habit of theirs.

If you want to know about new features and new songs, then: continue reading →
No Mafia 2 in 2009 – :( [Comments Off]

Publisher Take Two announced that Mafia 2 – developed by 2K games – and Red Dead Redemption – developed by Rockstar – will not be completed in 2009, but instead, they prognosticate the scheduled arrival time to be Q1, 2010. You might think that missing the holiday season will have a bad effect on sales, however, remember GTA 4 for the PC, struggling with serious optimalization issues, and different bugs, when it came out – so it might not be such a bad idea to postpone the arrival dates of these games.
Update: Meanwhile, Bioshock 2, another Take Two game got a site update – check it here.

John McClane – a.k.a. Bruce Willis, however, I would bet the whole Bruce Willis thing is just a scam – is not the usual sci-fi actor, but let’s not get stuck at his filmography – which is quite B class these days. Until now. continue reading →
