For fans of the plastic music industry: Activison has set the launch date of Guitar Hero 5 – it will be available from the 1st of September, 2009 – delivering a successful punch in the face of rival rhythm game, The Beatles: Rock Band – which will premiere a week later. Neversoft revamped the whole visual style of the game, and they really did, as you can tell by the example screenshots: the game seems more “grown up”.  If you want to know about new features and new songs, then:

Other new features include a new Guitar Hero Music Studio revamped for accessibility; Band Moments, in which groups are rewarded for performing special note groups together; and song challenges, which task players to perform songs in certain ways.
