Don’t lose your head – Gladiator A.D. for the Wii announced

It always makes our heart race, when we hear about new releases for the Nintendo Wii – especially if it’s a game which is not intended for children in kindergardens – and High Voltage delivers again: The developer of The Conduit has revealed details about their ultra-gory game under development named Gladiator A.D.
It’s a title inspired by the movie 300 (and perhaps, Gladiator — shot in the dark, that one) and takes players back to ancient Rome to embrace the dust of the arenas, like famous gladiators of that time. We are happy to welcome such a game, since the Wii doesn’t have much to show yet in regards of ripping people new ones.
Eric Nofsinger: Gladiator A.D. takes strategic combat mechanics and steps it up a notch with an RPG-light twist and more player options. Players take their gladiator into one of history’s most brutal blood sports; the Roman Gladiatorial Circuit. After winning enough favor from the crowd, players can challenge the champions for fame, wealth, and in some cases, freedom stand waiting to the victor.
