Serious Mass Effect 2 info/spoilers ahead

While we are waiting for the new Mass Effect DLC to be completed, we can focus on the upcoming new game, Mass Effect 2. Yes, yes, this is what we’ve been waiting for, finally some info on the sequel, not just the annoying teaser trailer we got a few months ago, which hinted that Shepard dies along the way between the two games. So, will we have a new hero, to save the galaxy with?

Players will definitely play as Shepard, but it is not known, for how long. BioWare has since admitted that the “death” of Shepard will be significant, but they have not said yet, in what way.

A lot of spoilers can be found about the next game (and the upcoming DLC) in this forum thread, although they are mostly bits and pieces about the features of the new game, and not real spoilers about the story.

Bioware will demonstrate Mass Effect 2 at E3 behind closed doors – as stated in the video below – with a playable version of the game. Let’s cross our fingers, and hope that more info leakes out then!
