Yo dawg, we herd u like COD4… [Comments Off]

So, apparently if your game does not control exactly like Call of Duty 4, that is a valid complaint. The constant bitching and bickering about the controls of Killzone 2 has lead to the following reaction from Seb Downie of Guerrilla Games:
We have not stopped looking into the complaints and will see what we can do about it. Any possible changes will have to be carefully implemented and tested before being deployed though.
Let’s hope they take their time, until at least Call of Duty 6 is out, so I can enjoy my Killzone 2. If I wanna play Call of Duty, I can just put the disk into my PS3, you know. Now, don’t take me wrong, Modern Warfare is an inarguably amazing game, but do we really need another one just yet?
Guerrilla is also looking into several other issues — more real ones. You can find Mr. Downie’s detailed post here.
Resident Evil 5 officially racism free! [Comments Off]

According to the english game-rating board BCFC, Resident Evil 5 does not contain any sort of racism. Thank god this is official now.
“As the whole game is set in Africa it is hardly surprising that some of the characters are black, just like the fact that some of the characters in an earlier version were Spanish as the game was set in Spain.”
They went on to say that they “take racism very seriosuly”, as they should, and Resident Evil 5 is infact not racist. Take that, N’Gai Croal!
